You need health insurance. Politics aside, health insurance can prevent outrageous costs and financial troubles. There are those who would tell you that you don’t need health insurance, and the ER is the best place to go. The emergency room cannot treat long-term health issues. If you have cancer, or need treatment for diabetes, you will need health insurance to cover costs.

Don’t be afraid of health insurance. Even if it becomes something that is mandatory. If there is a better alternatives than health insurance, then you should put that forward. Let others know what ideas you have that is better than health insurance. Otherwise, you should probably get some.
